# AI for airports and wildlife control

**Seven in ten wildlife strikes happen where the airport can still prevent them.** Most bird strikes happen during takeoff or landing, below 500 feet — inside the perimeter or right next to it. That's where operations teams can prevent them, but only if they know where and when to look, and for which species. Today that information is scattered across patrols, radio calls, spreadsheets and manually entered reports. AI can pull it together, spot patterns and flag risks in time.

We pinpoint where AI makes sense in your operations, the impact it can have and where to start, through an analysis tailored to your business.

This service is valued at USD 500. If you move forward with us on the implementation, it's fully credited toward the project. We only charge for it if, after seeing your Map, you decide not to pursue any of the opportunities.

## The landscape for airport operations

- ~70% of wildlife strikes happen between 0 and 500 feet: inside the airport or right next to it. (FAA — Wildlife Strikes FAQ, https://www.faa.gov/airports/airport_safety/wildlife/faq)
- +14% increase in US wildlife strikes in 2024, versus a 4% rise in aircraft movements. (FAA, via GlobalAir (2025), https://www.globalair.com/articles/faa-reports-a-14-increase-in-wildlife-strikes-from-2023-to-2024?id=11144)
- 16% of strikes were reported through more than one channel at once. (FAA, via GlobalAir (2025), https://www.globalair.com/articles/faa-reports-a-14-increase-in-wildlife-strikes-from-2023-to-2024?id=11144)

- **A risk growing faster than traffic**: Strikes are rising faster than aircraft movements, so more flights alone don't explain it.
- **Patrols that don't know where to look**: Dispersal relies on each crew's experience, not on data about where and when wildlife shows up.
- **Reports entered by hand, more than once**: The same event gets reported through different channels, with incomplete data nobody can analyze later.
- **Audits that demand everything on record**: Every control action has to be logged to the aviation authority's standards.

## Where to look for opportunities first

We place each initiative by how much impact it can have and how much effort implementing it takes.

- Voice or photo reports from the field app (Quick wins)
- Pattern analysis by species, time of day and season (Quick wins)
- Automatic documentation for audits (Quick wins)
- Merging duplicate reports (Complements)
- Daily patrol prioritization by risk (Differentiators)
- Wildlife detection with cameras and computer vision (Later on)

## Your AI Opportunity Map

We analyze one process in your operation — wildlife control, reports, airfield patrols — and show you which part AI can take over, what risk it reduces and where to start.

- **The process as it actually works today**: We map how your team really works, with its steps, delays and friction points.
- **Where applying AI makes sense — and where it doesn't**: We separate the real opportunities from the ones that only sound good, so you don't spend budget on what generates no impact.
- **Impact and effort matrix**: Every opportunity placed by how much it moves the business and how much it costs to implement.
- **An estimate of the possible benefit**: The hours, errors or revenue at stake, with the assumptions in plain sight so you can challenge them.
- **A concrete recommendation on where to start**: One first opportunity to get moving on, not a generic list of good intentions.

## From application to Map, in four steps

1. **You apply**: You answer a few questions so we can understand and assess your company.
2. **We talk**: We start with a video call with an AI expert.
3. **We analyze the process**: We pick where it makes the most sense to look for opportunities.
4. **You get your Map**: Our first delivery estimate is 3 business days.

## Frequently asked questions

**How long does it take?**
It starts with a consulting meeting over video call, where we map out the process and define the focus of the analysis. If the process calls for it, we add a second meeting to validate details. The Map arrives in about 3 business days from the first meeting.

**Is it in person?**
No. Every meeting is over video call, whether your company is in Argentina, Mexico or anywhere else: we schedule quickly and with no travel involved.

**Do I have to prepare anything?**
Nothing. The only thing we ask is that someone who can make the decision joins the first meeting, so we don't have to repeat the conversation later on. If we then need to get into the operational detail, we bring in whoever knows the process day to day.

**How long until we see results?**
Automated report entry and pattern analysis start showing results within the first few weeks. The key is to measure upfront how long each report takes to enter today and how complete the data is. Without that baseline, there's no way to tell how much things improved.

**What happens to the airport's operational data?**
It stays in the airport's infrastructure. We define what gets processed, where and with which provider.

**Does my company have to be large?**
No. What matters isn't the size of the company but that there is a process with enough volume — many transactions, queries or repetitive documents — for automating part of it to have a real, measurable impact.

**What happens afterwards?**
The Map is your company's, whether you use it with us or not. If you decide to move forward, the same team that built it can build the solution and support you over time. If you'd rather wait or evaluate another option, the Map is still yours.

**Why is it free? (while the promotion is running)**
We believe it's the simplest way to show how we work before asking you to invest in a project. This free-of-charge offer has an end date.

**Does it replace the wildlife control team?**
No. Decisions and action on the airfield stay with the team; AI organizes the information and raises alerts.

**Does it meet aviation authority requirements?**
Reports are generated with the fields each country's authority requires, such as the FAA in the United States or ANAC in Argentina, and the team reviews them before they're submitted.

**When is the consultation charged? (when no promotion is running)**
Only if, after seeing your Map, you decide not to pursue any of the opportunities we found. If you move forward with us on implementing one, we credit the full cost of the Map toward that project.
