# AI for fintech and collections

**The installment nobody chases in time is the hardest one to collect.** Household delinquency in Argentina is at its highest level in two decades, and at fintechs it's above 25%. The longer it takes to make first contact, the harder the debt is to recover, and the collections team can't reach everyone in time. That's where AI can take over the reminders, the follow-ups and tracking every promise to pay, so your people can focus on the cases that need real negotiation.

We pinpoint where AI makes sense in your operations, the impact it can have and where to start, through an analysis tailored to your business.

This service is valued at USD 500. If you move forward with us on the implementation, it's fully credited toward the project. We only charge for it if, after seeing your Map, you decide not to pursue any of the opportunities.

## The landscape for fintech and financial services

- 12.8% of household loans at Argentine banks are past due, after 19 straight months of increases. (Central Bank of Argentina, via iProUP (July 2026), https://www.iproup.com/finanzas/70150-el-bcra-revelo-cual-es-el-credito-con-mayor-morosidad.amp)
- 26.9% is the delinquency rate on loans from fintechs and other non-bank lenders: more than double that of banks. (Central Bank of Argentina, via El Observador (June 2026), https://www.elobservador.com.uy/argentina/economia-y-negocios/el-motor-apagado-la-economia-el-credito-las-familias-lleva-siete-meses-caida-y-la-morosidad-no-baja-n6046562)
- 30%+ in savings for a European bank that automated 90% of its collections communications with AI, with no loss in effectiveness. (McKinsey — The analytics-enabled collections model, https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/financial-services/our-insights/the-analytics-enabled-collections-model)

- **Delinquency growing faster than the team**: With delinquency at record highs, there are more accounts to work every month, and the collections team is still the same size.
- **Reminders that arrive late or not at all**: The reminder before the due date is the cheapest contact there is, and it's usually the first thing dropped when volume rises.
- **Agents tied up with cases that resolve themselves**: Some customers who fall behind pay after a simple reminder. If the team calls them anyway, it takes time away from the hard cases.
- **Promises to pay nobody follows up on**: Agreements get noted in spreadsheets, and when they're broken, nobody finds out until the next cycle.

## Where to look for opportunities first

We place each initiative by how much impact it can have and how much effort implementing it takes.

- Reminders before the due date (Quick wins)
- Automatic promise-to-pay follow-up (Quick wins)
- Document validation at customer onboarding (Quick wins)
- Answers to balance, installment and payment-method questions (Complements)
- Portfolio prioritization for collection agents (Differentiators)
- Payment plans negotiated through digital channels (Later on)

## Your AI Opportunity Map

We analyze one process in your operation — collections, customer onboarding, support — and show you which part AI can take over, how much of the portfolio it can recover and where to start.

- **The process as it actually works today**: We map how your team really works, with its steps, delays and friction points.
- **Where applying AI makes sense — and where it doesn't**: We separate the real opportunities from the ones that only sound good, so you don't spend budget on what generates no impact.
- **Impact and effort matrix**: Every opportunity placed by how much it moves the business and how much it costs to implement.
- **An estimate of the possible benefit**: The hours, errors or revenue at stake, with the assumptions in plain sight so you can challenge them.
- **A concrete recommendation on where to start**: One first opportunity to get moving on, not a generic list of good intentions.

## From application to Map, in four steps

1. **You apply**: You answer a few questions so we can understand and assess your company.
2. **We talk**: We start with a video call with an AI expert.
3. **We analyze the process**: We pick where it makes the most sense to look for opportunities.
4. **You get your Map**: Our first delivery estimate is 3 business days.

## Frequently asked questions

**How long does it take?**
It starts with a consulting meeting over video call, where we map out the process and define the focus of the analysis. If the process calls for it, we add a second meeting to validate details. The Map arrives in about 3 business days from the first meeting.

**Is it in person?**
No. Every meeting is over video call, whether your company is in Argentina, Mexico or anywhere else: we schedule quickly and with no travel involved.

**Do I have to prepare anything?**
Nothing. The only thing we ask is that someone who can make the decision joins the first meeting, so we don't have to repeat the conversation later on. If we then need to get into the operational detail, we bring in whoever knows the process day to day.

**How long until we see results?**
Reminders before the due date and promise-to-pay follow-up are among the first to show results, because the effect shows up in the next month's due dates. The key is to measure delinquency by aging bucket before you start. Without that baseline, there's no way to know how much it improved.

**What happens to our customers' data?**
Collecting doesn't require moving your whole database: a reminder works with a name, contact details, an amount and a due date. Personal data is protected under Argentina's Law 25,326, and we design the solution so the information stays in your infrastructure and only what's essential leaves it.

**Does my company have to be large?**
No. What matters isn't the size of the company but that there is a process with enough volume — many transactions, queries or repetitive documents — for automating part of it to have a real, measurable impact.

**What happens afterwards?**
The Map is your company's, whether you use it with us or not. If you decide to move forward, the same team that built it can build the solution and support you over time. If you'd rather wait or evaluate another option, the Map is still yours.

**Why is it free? (while the promotion is running)**
We believe it's the simplest way to show how we work before asking you to invest in a project. This free-of-charge offer has an end date.

**Do the collection messages comply with regulations?**
Yes. We set the tone, timing and frequency of contact with your legal team, in line with the fair treatment required by consumer protection law.

**Does it work with our core system or CRM?**
Yes. We integrate with the systems you already use to read due dates and log every action; there's no need to replace anything.

**When is the consultation charged? (when no promotion is running)**
Only if, after seeing your Map, you decide not to pursue any of the opportunities we found. If you move forward with us on implementing one, we credit the full cost of the Map toward that project.
