## How we work

1. **Discovery**: We pin down who uses the app, when, and which systems it has to talk to, and pick the features for the first release.
2. **UI/UX design**: We design the key screens and flows and test them in a clickable prototype before writing code.
3. **Development**: We build the app, the API and the admin panel, and test it on a range of iOS and Android phones.
4. **Release**: We prepare the store listings, screenshots and permissions, and see the App Store and Google Play reviews through.
5. **Maintenance**: We update the app for every new iOS and Android version and add features based on how people actually use it.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do you build native or cross-platform apps?**
We work with React Native, which produces the iOS and Android apps from the same codebase. When a feature needs platform-specific code, we add it as a native module.

**Do you handle publishing the app to the stores?**
Yes. We prepare the app for the App Store and Google Play and take care of each store's submission and review process.

**Can the app connect to the systems we already use?**
Yes, that's the usual setup. We build the API that connects the app to your ERP, CRM or payment providers, or integrate it with the one you already have.

**Can the app work offline?**
Yes, when the use case calls for it: the app stores what people enter and syncs it once the signal is back. We settle it during discovery, because it shapes how the app is designed.

**Can you add AI to a mobile app?**
Yes. The app can include an assistant users talk or type to, read a photo or a document and fill in the data on its own, or recommend what each user needs. And if your systems are connected to AI, field teams can ask the app for what they need in their own words: "what orders does this customer have pending?"

**How much does it cost to build a mobile app?**
It depends on the number of screens, user roles and integrations. We quote after a first meeting, with the scope in writing.
