## The challenge

Ephere, now MetaSoccer, needed a full Web3 soccer manager game built from scratch, with players, stadiums and currency as digital assets.

## Our solution

We owned the entire build — designing the end-to-end flow, developing the platform and keeping it running:

- Smart contracts for player, stadium and currency tokens — designed, built, tested and optimized
- A manager platform covering squads, players, transfers and loans, leagues, tournaments and prizes
- Match simulation through a Google AI tool, with positional data to watch games play out in the browser
- On-chain transactions from the platform, using JS libraries such as ethers.js
- Sign-in with both custodial and non-custodial wallets
- Integration with MetaSoccer, merging both platforms into a single soccer manager

- Showcased across multiple funding rounds, earning recognition from investors worldwide
- On-chain purchases of digital assets, right inside the platform

## Web3 for people who aren't into crypto

So the game wasn't limited to blockchain-savvy players, we offered two ways in: custodial wallets for newcomers, and non-custodial wallets for people who already manage their own assets. That way, any soccer fan could play without technical barriers.
