## The challenge

Jotafí builds management systems for public-sector organizations. Its flagship product, SIGeMi, is a municipal management system that needed to be modernized: a better user experience and up-to-date technology, without losing years of business logic or the flexibility to adapt to each municipality's needs.

## Our solution

A team of Tupaca's technical experts analyzed the current platform and put together a complete re-engineering proposal, including:

- An analysis of current processes and platforms, and of the pain points in working with clients
- The architecture and software layers for the new solution
- A proposed tech stack (Next.js, React and Node.js), planned to coexist with current tools and gradually replace them
- A configuration and customization strategy to tailor the solution to each client
- A build, deployment, infrastructure and environments plan
- An incremental, client-by-client rollout plan
- An AI-assisted development process and an automated testing strategy
- A technical and functional document with component diagrams, and a final presentation to the board
